Google Gears (up!)
June 4th, 2007, Views: 1,893 / No Comments Yet

Google launched Gears this weekend - very very sexy technology-wise.
This could herald a lot of interesting application development, particularly for product that are required to work on and off line.

I came across the news via the Google blog, but also noted coverage by Techcrunch and others.

unsurprisingly, there have been a few developers clawing to get there teeth into in and explore its potential - I include myself in this group, but my usual excuse in action - no time…

The first example I came across was this, which is a nice gentle intro.
